We lost a valuable, caring member of our union

As many of you already know, and for those that have not heard, on Tuesday, December 4, 2012, Tracy Porter passed away. Many of our members have had the pleasure to work with or along side her. She has held many positions at the college, the most recent as a receptionist at the SME - Welcome Center, and previously as secretary at the MTEC center. She was always a caring person, would listen to your problems, and give knowledgeable advise. Her coworkers never had a bad word to say about her and the students always appreciated the help she provided to them.We extend our deepest, sincerest thoughts and prayers to her friends and family during such a troubling time.In honor and remembrance of her, the staff at our SME - Welcome Center all dressed in Fuschia for the day, which was one of her favorite colors.
