Some of you have already began to submit your application and official transcripts to me but I wanted to send out a remainder to SSA members.

Per the SSA collective bargaining agreement, a Professional Development Fund has been established to pay for expenses for SSA members for:

  • External conferences/seminars
  • Travel related to off-site conferences/seminars
  • Tuition/fees associated with certifications/licenses
  • Tuitions/fees reimbursement for courses successfully completed ("C" or better) in an accredited four (4) year degree program.

The committee, which consists of three (3) SSA members and an administrator from HR, meets three (3) times a year and will be meeting to review applications for reimbursement for expenses incurred during the 2019 Fall Semester. 

If you have not already done so, please submit your application to the Office of Human Resources by Wednesday, January 15, 2019.
