Community Diaper Drive to support the Community Baby Shower Event on Saturday, April 27th

The SSA social committee is hosting a Community Diaper Drive to support the college’s upcoming Community Baby Shower Event. To participate, gather a team of 10 members or less, name your team, designate a team lead, and start collecting items from the wish list! The winning team will receive a party sponsored by the SSA Social Committee, and all participants will receive a participation plaque of appreciation. Team leads will be responsible for collecting donations and coordinating with me to drop them off.

The Community Leadership Group will be bringing 100 expecting mothers in need to the college and educating them on safe sleep, breastfeeding, infant safety, and other topics. They plan to give each mother who attends a Pack-N-Play and, if this is as successful as we hope, a filled backpack/diaper bag. We need your help to make this event a success!!! If you are interested in participating in this great cause, please contact me at your earliest convenience so further instructions can be provided.  In addition, please spread the word about this event as well as the baby shower (see attached fliers below for both)!
