Detroit area WSUSOM DrivesVolunteer with Be the Match. (bethematch.org) Be the Match is a bone marrow drive that identifies prospective donors. You will have the opportunity to greet attendees, hand out information, and complete a variety of additional tasks. Bone marrow drives are scheduled throughout the Detroit area (indoors and outside). Lincoln ParkFree Community Emergency Response Team Training (CERT)Learn about disaster preparedness, fire safety, light search and rescue, disaster psychology, terrorism, and more. The course is scheduled for April 13 -15 at the Lincoln Park Community Policing Center, 1394 Cleophus, Lincoln Park, 48146. Apply online by April 1. Participants must be 18 years or older, a Wayne County resident, and pass a background check. Register online at lpcert.org/Preparedness Training/.
