A letter from your Vice President, Darren Rinaldi
Hello everyone,After being a part of the HFCC Family for over 15 years, I have chosen to accept a job offer outside of the college. I have been so lucky to work alongside of most of you and have come to realize that you are all part of this family that we have here. We have had good times and bad times and through it all, we have remained strong and united. We took a risk separating a couple of years ago in hopes that it would lead to a better future for us all. I believe that risk was well worth it and we do have a better union and future ahead of us. We stuck together, weathered the unknown, and have come out better and stronger!I now am taking a risk in the hopes that it will provide myself and my family a better opportunity. Even though I am leaving the college, I am not leaving our union, OUR SSA! I will always be a Hawk, I will always be a part of this, and I will never forget any of you.Thank you all for your support and belief in me as your Vice President. I have represented you as best as I could, always saying that I want to be the person that I would want representing me, and I hope you know that I have done all I can when I was called upon. I could not have asked for a better group of employees to be part of or a better union. I will still be maintaining the web site until asked otherwise, will always be watching you from afar, and will do my best to still come to our functions.Thank you,Darren Rinaldi
