We are negotiating a new, better contract

It was announced at last Thursday's General Membership meeting, but in case you were not present, it is official, we are in contract negotiations at this time. We will be meeting weekly with representatives of Henry Ford Community College until we can agree upon the terms. Because negotiations are silent, we cannot say more than this at the time, but we are happy with the progress and believe that we will be able to walk away with a much better contract than what we had before.
