Market Day Crafters Needed for November 7th

The Employee Recognition and Engagement Committee is seeking participants for Market Day, which will be held on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., on the first floor of the ASCC Building (Building L).

Market Day is an opportunity for our employees to showcase their talents by selling their handcrafted items. Items must be handcrafted and/or homemade… examples include jewelry, photography, ceramics, woodworking, painting/sketches,sculptures, paper crafts, knitted or crocheted items, sewing or quilting, baked goods/ jams/jellies/salsas etc. etc.

Entry fee for participants is $15 and will include one 6’x2′ table and one chair. All proceeds from the entry fees will be use to promote employee appreciation and recognition. Participants will be required to use their available vacation or personal business time to cover their hours of participation.

The committee will also welcome current student workers and retirees to participate in Market Day.

To join in on Market Day, please fill out the application and forward your entry fee with the completed application, to Cynthia Morris – School of STEM, by October 15, 2018.

Want to participate but are not sure?
Not sure you’ll have enough to sell or can’t make it at that time… consider combining a table with a fellow employee.
